 Returning to my roots...

The former NCIS Agent now CSI, Reagan was returning to his roots. Born and raised in Miami til he was nine years old James was a CSI based in Las Vegas since he was 21. He eventually moved to Miami again after 10 years and remained there for five more years.

After 15 years as a CSI James had moved to DC and became a fed, but his heart remained with CSI and he missed the thrill of working the insides of the evidence and working the actual crime scene. So after five years at NCIS James hung up his NCIS sheild and returned to Miami, he arrived back in Miami in March but he was forced to post-pone his arrival for six months due to personal life issues.

He had kept in touch with Horatio and Delko ever since he left Miami the first time in 2003 so he was aware of most things that had happened. So when he arrived at the lab again he wasnt surprised to see many differences. Parking up his hummer he grabbed his backpack and climbed out, feeling the familiar heat hit him like a bulldozer he winced and blinked nudging his sunglasses down from the top of his head to his eyes with his finger. Allowing himself a moment to take in his surroundings he closed the door with a soft click and locked it using the key-fob on his keychain. Pocketing the keys he started to walk towards the steps absently adjusting his tie and checking his jacket.

For his first day back he had chosen to wear a crisp new suit, he favourited the black Armarni but for this occasion he had opted to wear simple light grey jacket and trousers with a pale blue shirt and red tie. He liked good impressions and he was determined to make one. Pausing at the bottom of the steps he placed one foot on the second step up and proceeded to check it's shine not needing to lean on the rail next to him but keeping close to it to keep out of anyones way.

Aiden walked into the building, holding a coffee cup, as always. She looked around. Her hazel eyes noticed an unfamiliar face. Remembering her first day here and how alone she felt, she decided to make conversation. She walked up to the man standing by the stairs. "Hello. I'm Aiden Hawthorne." She extended a hand to him.

Wiping away a speck on his shoe he heard footsteps, out of the corner of his eye he saw a woman approach but he allowed the woman to speak first...when she did James looked up and grinned at the woman, he straightened up and placed his foot back on the ground and took her hand "James Reagan" he said coolly "Nice to meet you" she didnt seem familiar but then again he had been gone a while and things had changed.

Aiden returned the smile sincerely. "It's nice to meet you too." She made eye contact, trying to decide if she'd met him before and decided she hadn't. "So are you new to Miami?"
