If you are an outsider and you don't know anything about Bella & Luke's relationship then you might just think that there just a regular couple, but if your someone who knows them then you might suspicious. At the time when Bella & Luke first met she just thought that he was another flirt, but she was wrong. Then when the relationship took off, she started to fall deeply and truly in love with Luke. A year and a 1/2 after the relationship took off Luke proposed to Bella and she accepted it. Around Three months after the birth of Bella & Luke's baby girl Haley Marie Taylor, Luke started to get seriously & dangerously violent towards Bella. So at the time she decided to take her daughter and go to the New York Police Department to report it and press charges against him.
On her way to Miami, Ashli decided to go to New York to try to find her mother. That was the last place that her mother was spoted, she thought she might as well give it a try. Because once she arrived in Miami she wanted to put the past behind her. Ashli had many friends that worked for the NYPD, so she ran by to tell everyone hi before she went to the airport, where she saw a poor young woman and her beautiful infant daughter, she smiled at her and asked."Have they helped you yet honey?"

It was very hard for Bella to talk because she was very beaten with a split lip, a broken arm, and bruises all over her body."no...no one has helped me yet...do you know where Horatio Caine & Calleigh are?" She wondered why this woman would want to help her and she also wondered who in the world this young woman was because she only knew a few people on her dad's team.

Tim dusted himself off after finishing up on an autopsy. He'd spilled fingerprint powder all over himself--much to his annoyance. Someone had left it behind, and he'd not seen it until it was too late. Luckily it hadn't contaminated the body any, just irritated him.
Itching his nose as he pulled his lab coat off, he headed into the locker room to drop things off. After a short stop there, he made his way out front, intent on finding some of the team. No one had really met up with him since he'd started, and the temp ME had already had that body in the morgue. It'd been an unpleasant case and the other ME had been more than happy to hand it off to him. After getting a look, he'd understood why.
Shaking his head as he headed out front, his mind still focused on the confusion he felt at all the familiar feelings this place brought, he almost didn't notice the young woman.
But something about how upset she was, and how badly she seemed to need help drew his eyes to her. Clearing his throat, he headed over toward her, eyes kind. He was still a doctor, even if he was currently working as an ME. [Eventually he hoped to get a foot in the door at the hospital...]
"Hi there. You look like you could really use some help. Can I do something? I'm Dr. Speedle...."

She didn't know if Speed recognized her or not because of all the bruises that she had from head to toe. She wondered if Speed & Cassie's relationship was a still on but she wasn't going to mettle in their relationship. It was very hard for Bella to talk but she took a deep breath and said "Hi I'm Bella Caine & I am actually looking for a detective so I can press charges".
