When Ashley and Kate passed him he watched them cautiously then went to Grey and Horatio "Come on we gotta move" he urged trying to keep himself calm even though the smoke was getting to him he was determined not to weaken. He was used to harsh conditions but no one should get used to the effect smoke from fire carefully James crouched beside Grey pulling his clean hankercheif from his side pocket "here cover your mouth and nose" he looked towards the doorway willing the fire brigade to hurry up.

Grey nodded at Ash. It was pretty stupid to lie in this situation. He could feel his head starting to spin and gratefully accepted the handkerchief given to him by Reagan. Thanks. He coughed. They all needed to get out of there. He made another attempt to stand up. He managed to get to his feet and leaned against the wall. He hated to admit it, but he needed help.

As grey got to his feet James grabbed him firmly "Easy, lean on me...lets get you out of here you'll be ok" he glanced at Horatio "ready?" he asked then slowley guided Grey out but allowing Grey the chance to find his feet. As they moved James chanced a look around to see if anyone else remained behind, he wasnt going to leave anyone behind. His expertise told him being left behind wasnt good.

Kate slowly turned her neck. She wanted to see what James was doing. He was helping Grey. This gave her some calmness as she started to feel weeker. She looked from Ash to H to James. Waiting for someone to move. To get them out of here. But everything seemed slow. A second felt like hours. She looked at the ceailing trying to stay awake.

Grey at Reagan and nodded, leaning slightly into him. He took a moment to balance himself out before allowing himself to be guided out. "Thank you. You probably just saved my life."

Ash looked at Kate, pretty sure that this time she couldn't pick her up."Can you walk? Or at least able to be dragged?" she asked with a weak smile. Her eyes followed James and Grey.

She looked at Ashley. She thought that she would give it a try. She tried to balance her weight on her feet. Pain shot through her sides and her stomach. She winced a little. She looked at Ashley. She took a step and kinda shook. She might need a little help.
