Ryan sat as told, crossing his legs and looking towards his superior. Horatio can see through my eyes.. he always does that during interrogation, witnesses.. I shouldn't lie to him, he thought to himself, leaning back into the seat and awaiting for the news to hit him.

Either smack in the face or softly.

He didn't quite mind.

[Horatio Caine]

Horatio sat looking at him for a moment.
"Ryan, the spazzness..." he started, "has..has got to calm. I mean when we're at a crime scene I want no fooling around, or when we are running tests. Ok? A little bit ago was fine, because we arent on an investigation. Do you understand what I'm saying?" Horatio sighed and relaxed.

Ryan nodded. "Yep. I think it has something to do with all the cake I ate, or maybe the small pang I felt in my arm when I woke up. I mean, when I looked at where it hurt; there was this cotton ball taped to my arm, and, well.. I thought I might've been injected with something," he said, placing a finger on his chin and thinking about it.

Then he covered his mouth.

Whoops. That wasn't supposed to slip out.

[Horatio Caine]

Horatio raised his eyebrows.
"Injected? Explain." Horatio held his breath then let it out slowly, a simple talk has just turned to something serious and was going to last longer than he wanted it to.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

"Ah, well, y'see.." Ryan started, grasping in mid-air for words; lacking anything to say. "I.. kind of woke up this morning because my arm started to throb. Then, I looked at my arm and found a cotton ball there, you know, like when they vaccine you and place it there so blood won't be lost, or the medicine would come out? Well, I took it off, and when I did, I started freaking out. I mean.. dancing, shouting, hooting and all those stuff. Then Sasha gave birth, and I took a picture.. and then the thing that happened in the lobby started," he said, inhaling after talking for so long.

Wow. What a wonderful day this was turning out to be.

"Ok. You may go." Horatio stood and walked to the door.

Ryan swallowed; hard. What would happen to him, now, he wondered. A question remained in his head which he refused to let go of.

Why me?

He lay his head on the desk, sighing heavily.

What's going to happen?

He shuddered, feeling pain rip through his arm. "Gaah!" he exclaimed, holding onto his limb and whimpering.

".. ugh.."

Once Ryan was gone, Horatio sat back down and buried his face in his hands. What will I do now? He thought.

Ryan remained there in the corridor, sitting on the ground; leaning softly against one of the glass walls, now not seeming to care if it broke. He whimpered, holding his arm in pain and closing his eyes.

I must've been drugged.. he thought to himself, breathing heavily.

Daniel had been walking down the hallways with his nose in a book about archeology, it was a brand new book that only hit selves a few days ago. He was so into the book that he didn't see Ryan sitting on the floor until it was too late. He trip over the other man and end up taking a tumble to the ground.

A few curse words in a couple of different lanagues was given as he sat there rubbing his head which bounced off the floor pretty good.

Ryan winced when he felt the contact, looking towards the male and blinking. ".. You caught me.. aaah.. at a bad time, Taylor," he muttered, gasping when another shot of pain ran across his arm. He lay his head on his knees, resisting the urge to sob.

It just.. pained him terribly.

Ash had been waiting for Ryan to go out of Horatio's office, and she was worried to say the least. She waited for a few minutes before she walked to him. Her face showed how worried that she had messed something up. She glanced at Daniel and smiled slightly, then helped him up. Then she slid down next to Ryan and just stared at him for a while."I'm sorry, Ryan! I'm sorry if I got you into trouble," she said, not noticing him feeling his arm.

Ryan looked up at her, shaking his head from side to side. "I'm fine-- aagh..!" he whimpered, holding onto his arm and closing his eyes. "I think I got injected with some drug," he uttered, looking towards Ashley with a slightly pained; and definitely worried face. "I-I can barely feel anything but the pain shooting up and down my arm.. over and over again.." he continued, sighing.

First; he had keratitis. And now, now he had physical pains.

What was wrong?

Ash's eyes shot open at his words. Her cousin was injected with a drug? She wanted to be like when they were younger and she could just hug him and it would make everything better, but that wasn't ever coming back. "I-I.... when did it happen?" she asked in an overly painiced voice.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

"W-Well.. it might've been the reason for my hyperactivity," Ryan replied, looking towards Ashley with a sort of weak smile. "And then when the hyperactivity stopped, well.. there's been a shooting pain across my arm, and it just won't stop," he said, gasping when it happened again.

"I-I'm afraid I've got H worried."

"That should be the least of your worries," Ash said quietly. She looked down and felt her own tears coming to her eyes. She looked back at him and returned a weak smile, trying not to show how scared she was.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

Ryan sighed, nodding at that. "Maybe.. but I can't help but feel guilty for making him feel like that. I could've taken care of this myself without having to let him find out and start getting worried about me. I think.. I think H has suffered enough," he said, covering his face with his hands.

".. do you remember, when we were little, when all we'd do was hug; and everything would be okay?" he asked, smiling a little out of bliss.

Ash smiled slightly and put her arm around him, careful not to touch his other arm. She wanted to help him, but all helpful words seemed to leave her. She smiled again, this time it was a little brighter." I was just thinking about that... I wish it could just come back," she whispered, her eyes clouded with memories of those times.

Ryan returned the gesture, hugging his cousin a little limply; considering his right arm was out of commission. He, nodded, in agreement. Hazel; deteriorated hues: looking at the form in his arms.

"Only back then, you were taller than me!" he said playfully, hoping to lighten the mood.

Ash laughed slightly and nodded." Took the odler one long enough to look the part, too!" she said with a grin. When they were younger she looked a lot older than him, although she was a few years younger than him.

"Good thing I had that growth spurt in junior high! Or else; well, maybe I'd be up to your waist or something," Ryan said with a small pout. It was time to get things happy again, make people forget about the sadness probably washing over them.

And of course; if you knew Ryan Wolfe, you'd understand: that he can make almost everyone smile.

Then, he piped up again.

"Let's get ice cream!"

Ash rolled her eyes at him. He was hyper as usual, but she was hoping that it wasn't like before. She stood up and pulled him up with his good arm. She smiled and nodded."That was random. It does sound awesome, though," she said grinning.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

"Guh!" Ryan stood a little awkwardly, ignoring the shooting pain up his arm. "Ice cream always makes people feel better. Besides, after we get it, we could go to the hospital or something.." he trailed off, and grinned mischievously, "wanna drag Horatio, Eric and everyone else with us?"

Ash laughed out loud and shook her head."I doubt that 'H' would want to join us on our ice cream mission. Eric? That sounds a lot more likely," she said with a grin.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

"Oh, but we all know H is fun, too! He just doesn't wanna be fun right now because he's worried! This'll be a great chance to get him to loosen up!" Ryan said cheerfully, and grinned. "I think Delko would go, yeah, but I hope he won't rip my head off or something," he remarked, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

"Not when I'm around he won't," Ash said with a grin. She shrugged when he talked about 'H'. She thought differently, but she knew he wouldn't listen to her. She shrugged and smiled slightly at him.

[RYAN WOLFE!™]

"Okay. That's good to hear! Now, WE'LL DRAG HORATIO OUT OF THAT OFFICE AND TAKE HIM TO THE ICE CREAM STAND WHETHER HE LIKES IT OR NOTTTT!!" he exclaimed happily, bounding down the hallway to Horatio's office.

"Ryan!" she excalimed, then ran after him."Cool it when you ask him, okay?" she asked him quietly. She smiled slightly, then stood next to him.

"If possible," Ryan said and grinned cheekily. He was a rather rambunctious fellow; which led him to singing 'Where Everybody Knows Your Name' while walking, skipping like a little child down the Yellow Brick Road and grasping Ashley's hand.

Ash started laughing where he started singing. she rolled her eyes and grinned at him. She just walked next to him while he skipped. She was still suprised at how... he was. (lol)
