Ryan blinked, looking towards Horatio and managing to make a smile appear on his face. "I'm looking for gentamicin. If I'm not mistaken, it's found in soil and water. And apparently, there isn't any soil inside the lab," he bent over, using his hands to scoop up some of the soil and grinning to himself; turning around and running back into the lab. "Sorry, H!" he shouted over his shoulder.
"I just gotta make a temporary cure!"

Horatio stood there dumbfounded. Make a cure for what? Why did he evacuate the lab? Gentamicin? so many questions raced thrugh his head and he could not answer a single one of them. It was driving him crazy!

Ryan placed the soil on the table, taking some of it and placing it on a slide; looking through the microscope and hopefully finding the element needed to create the cure. Then a question popped up in his mind.
Wouldn't Horatio be a big help?
But then again, could he risk the man's health for this?
.. No, it wasn't right. He bit his lower lip and continued, before using a micropipette to extract it, getting ready to fuse it.

Making sure Gavin was securely sprawled out across a few of the chairs, she hunched over slightly gasping. The weakness in her limbs was getting worse. Stumbling towards one of the chairs, she landed it in with a thud, still maintaining conciousness.

Ryan frowned, wondering where he would be able to find proteins. Realizing white blood cells contained them, he wondered if could extract some of his vital fluids. He scrambled around, taking out a needle and extracting some of his blood, wincing just a tad at the contact; before placing the blood into a container; liquifying the soil and mixing it. He then started to shake, watching as the proteins synthesized the bacteria, smiling a little triumphantly.
That should work. For now.

Despite the orders, Kyle found himself being pulled back towards the lab, and he immediately made his way over to Ryan, who apparently had the 'cure' for said sickness. He had been late, it was partially his fault he had been useless the whole time, but then he supposed he would make up for it. He'd do whatever he could, to help. To get them back to normal.
He walked over to Ryan, pulling on a lab coat and some gloves; breathing heavily after having ran.
"R-Ryan, you got the cure?" he asked, breaths heavy. He wondered if he had caught the virus. There was, after all, a chance that it was airborne--
--but he'd risk it. Just to make sure everyone else was okay..

Ryan nearly jumped at the voice, though he turned to look at Kyle and nodded, a grin on his face. "Yeah. Now all we gotta do is place them in these syringes," he murmured, taking out a box and handing it to him. "Just give me them when I ask for it, I'll put in the medicine, and you put it in that empty box over there," he stated, and then held his hand out for a syringe, hoping that the teenager understood. He was, after all, pretty smart for his age.
It wasn't everyday you found a seventeen year old wanting to work for his dad, either.

At the sound of the instructions, Kyle found it a little simple. He felt partially useless, not being able to do anything else but this, however at the moment Ryan held his hand out, he placed a syringe in it, inhaling. Hoping this would actually make some sort of impact, and that he'd be able to help, it was basically all he really wanted.

Ryan smiled as he was handed the syringe, putting in the medicine before handing it to Kyle once more, receiving another syringe and continuing the process.
"You probably came in despite orders, huh?" he said as he did his job, he could probably speak to the boy as he worked. He had, after all, wanted to acquaint himself with Kyle since the beginning, wanting to know how much he had to go through. He seemed like a strong boy.

Kyle blinked at the question. How did Ryan--
he shrugged it off, simply continuing to do as he was told. "Yeah," he finally said, as he handed Ryan.. perhaps the twentieth syringe. Everyone in the lab had to be injected, him and Ryan included. After all, they couldn't afford anyone else getting the virus, right?
"I saw dad on my way. Hopefully he didn't see me. I don't think he'd approve his son walking into a viral infected place," he muttered, and continued on the cycle.

Ryan chuckled at that, filling up the rest of the syringes. "Maybe. But your dad's a great man. I'd have to say maybe he did the same thing himself, once," he remarked, and blinked when they finished. He placed a hand on Kyle's back, pat it once, and then picked up the box, taking out a needle.
"I'll inject you first. Is that okay with you?"

Kyle, almost solemnly, nodded. Inject. Oh, how he hated being injected with medicine! It always hurt, that much was for sure, when the medicine had to push through the muscles to get into your vein.
"Yeah. I'm good," he replied, rolling up his sleeve. Hopefully it wouldn't hurt as much as his shots. Then again, this was pretty much like a shot. To make him immune when he would inject all those inflicted.
Sigh.

Ryan nodded, looking through Kyle's arm, finding the vein; before aiming. "It's going to hurt, just so you know," he muttered, before placing the needle in, injecting the medicine slowly. He watched the teenager's face, for any reaction, any winces. Kyle was a strong kid, he had to admit, he wouldn't break down that easily. He was just like his dad.. just like his dad.

Kyle winced as the medicine shot through, feeling pain enter his arm and numb it. He exhaled, and blinked as Ryan placed a cotton ball onto his arm. He was being gentle, like a big brother, or something.. and it made the teenager smile at the effort. He then rolled his sleeve back down, and took some of the syringes, placing them in the box he was holding not too long ago.
"Let's go."

Ryan couldn't help but smile at Kyle's determination. He really did have a flair for adventure. Even as a kid. He took the box, nodded and made his way down the hall, gesturing for Kyle to work on the people outside, while he did the more severe cases; those in the autopsy room.

Aiden stared at Gavin, monitoring his breathing. Worry. The only emotion that she could really feel. Besides the pain of course. The pain, intensifying by the second. The monsterous disease, coursing through her system. It was only a matter of time before they were all dead. She would be dead. But that didn't bother her. All she wanted was to see Kate and Gavin make it out of this alive. Then everything would be alright.
Gavin's breathing seemed steady enough. Rising to her feet, she started across the linoleum to find a wet wash cloth. Her legs felt practically non-existent and the room suddenly seemed to spin wildly around her. Her breathing was reduced to the point of hyperventilation.
The room spun faster. It refused to slow down long enough for her fuzzy thoughts to clear. Her vision was black around the edges. Her soft groan escaped her lips as she collapsed on the floor of the quarantined lab, unconcious.

Ryan had moved as quickly as possible to get to the lab with which Kate, Gavin and Aiden occupied. He was on the verge of hurting himself for letting such a thing happen to his colleagues, but nonetheless made his way along the hallways, making sure that Kyle was not as far back as he thought he was. The trace analyst, after all, was moving quicker than normal people. It was then he figured out that he hadn't injected himself yet, feeling some sort of heat fill him up from head to toe. Swearing unprofessionally, he continued to run, beckoning for the adolescent to follow him.
"Aiden! Gavin! Kate!" he called, bursting into the room, practically stumbling in. He swore once more at the sight of the unconscious beings, running to the closest of them, ironically being the one Aiden worried about most. He injected the liquid into Gavin's arm, placing some cloth over the spot he injected. He winced, however, when he felt the heat continue to move over him. He stumbled to Aiden, lowering to inject her, a little shakily. He watched as the medicine entered her, his vision slowly blurring.
He was infected.

Though still on concious, he felt a prick in his arm. It was barely a tickle compared to the rest of his intensely aching body. He could feel something enter his system, something cold and unnatural. It felt like his veins had been come an electrical circuit and with each heartbeat the liquid just shocked his body painfully back to life. His eye fluttered open and he groaned slightly. He took in his surrounds, trying desperately to figure out why he was passed out in the lab.
Gavin's eyes finally managed to focus and they found Ryan. "Ryan. What's going on?"

Ryan could only tremble ever so slightly as the pain continued to shake him; his hands shakily moving to place the cotton blood restraint onto her arm. He exhaled deeply; turning his head to look towards what had once been a passed out colleague, a slightly forced smile appearing on his face. "I-It's.. it's the Bubonic Plague.. if I'm not mistaken," he was cut off by a fierce rage of coughing, and he stumbled, nearly dropping the box filled with syringes.
"A-A lot of people.. they're.. they're infected.." he slid the box over to him, feeling the sickness engulf him whole. ".. y-you gotta.. you gotta help them.."
Ryan was cut off by a sudden wash of unconsciousness, knocking out; body stiffening as it fell to the cold floor.

Kate shook her head. She had compleatly zoned out. She looked around still not catching on to what happened. This was.... She took a deep breath. Gavin, What is going on? she waited for an answer. She knew that something wasnt right. Did they not keep it contanded?
