(Eric made me think of this. Ash always wants to brighten up someone's day (which she does when she helps solve a case). She wants to have like, a huge party at the mall, in hopes of making everyone on the team smile. Eric can post first, then whatever.)
Ash walked into the Mall, a triumpant smile on her face. She looked around searching for anyone on the team. Shehad a huge poster made and put it outside of 'H's door without him knowing until he looked, of course. The team was so down, she just wanted for them to relax and enjoy a good day.
She had a feeling that Eric and Speed would be the first ones she saw. She smiled to herself again, hoping she would see them. Speed was easiest to get along with, and it took time to get to Eric, but she had a feeling she had it.
She walked to the food court and ordered a Coke Float from the ice cream shop-like place. She payed the guy and sat down at the bar-like spots, her eyes still peeled for them. She just wanted them to bond even better; She had no idea what they were going to do after they all got together. Maybe she could get them to ice-skate...Naw, that would be impossible.
A familliar face made Ash jump with excitement. She jumped down and grabbed her drink. "Hey,"she said as she approached.

"Hey," Eric replied, looking warily around the mall. It was only him, and Ashley at the mall right now, for the team anyway. He leaned against the wall a little, looking around at all the faces and parents with their kids having fun. He didn't take a seat in the booth yet, but he would wait for another team member to get their. Somethings just seemed difficult, especially now. "What's with this little party thing?" He asked curiously.
OOC: Bad post, I know. Wicked tired because I had less than six hours of sleep last night because I just had to stay up and watch Cold Case around midnight, and then I had to get up and watch Third Watch at 7:00. AM. lol.

"Well, everyone is so... It is just a hard time for everyone, and me, being the annoyingly happy person that I am, wanted to see if there was anything that we could all do together that would...brighten the mood," ash said, shrugging."It seemed like a good dea in my head. I mean, if it is possible that something that I thought about can make someone less down, then I'll be jumping for joy,"she said. Then she realized how dorky she sounded, and laughed. "Sorry, I'm naturally a dork,"she said smiling slightly.

Eric sighed. "Well, things have been going difficult around the lab lately... Very difficult, and we can be a bit rough," he agreed. "But I guess that is normal around here, anyways. But you're not a dork," he added, looking at her. "That is actually a good, and thoughtful idea, which I believe may help. Actually, it's a great idea," he smiled at her.

Ash smiled slightly, her eyes wide at his praise."Wow, thanks!" she said smiling brightly. It was easy to see that his simple words made her feel a lot better. She smiled again and looked around. "I wonder if 'H' is mad at me for putting the poster on his door?" she asked smiling slightly.

"Poster?" He grinned. "I guess I didn't see it, or I don't remember seeing it. But he probably wouldn't be too happy having something out of the ordinary sitting in front of his office. May raise a few rumors," he laughed lightly. "If I were him, it would be more of a laugh than an angry moment, but listen to what other people might start saying. Just as long as you didn't put any posters on the door of my office, though," he grinned again.

"Okay, so next time I do something like this I'll have to remeber to put up the notice on your office door," Ash said grinning. "I'm already in hot water with Horatio anyway. He'll probably just add that to the talk he had failed to give me so far," she said, her grin decreasing slightly."The punk deserved it, but not from me I guess," she said smiling again.

Eric smiled in return. "Yeah, I guess he did. He should learn that somethings aren't all about him and what he wants," he added. "That won't help anything or anyone. I saw those dark looks I gave you. I think he's holding a grudge," he joked. "You might want to watch your back," he was teasing her now. Where is the rest of the team? He thought, with a twinge of impatience.

Ash smirked at him now. "Yeah, well I'm safe as long as I don't compleatly screw up something,"she laughed.She took a hand and moved some hair behind her hair." I guess they don't think it's that good of an idea. I thought that Speed would be among the first to come," she said with a slight frown.

"He's probably a little busy trying to get here," Eric shrugged. "I don't really know about anyone else though." He frowned. "I would have though 'H' would have been here by now," he wondered what was going on with everyone. "Oh well. We can just talk until someone else gets here, right?" He smiled.

IC: "Even better than solving crimes?" He teased again. "And slapping teens in the face?" He laughed. "From what I saw, you were pretty good at it, even though 'H' caught you in the process." He smiled, wondering what it would look like if he was slapped by a girl....

"Sometimes. I think I've had enough practice with my cousin,"Ash said smirking. It was true. She did hit Ryan a lot, but he had a tendency to annoy her. "Well, 'H' has got to admit that I could have done something to the kid,"she said shrugging.

"I didn't mean it like that," he frowned. "'H' wouldn't want one of his CSI's to get charged with assault from the family of the teen for getting slapped by a Law Enforcement Officer. But besides, we've had a few problems with 'accidentally on purpose slapping or punching a someone before," he smiled, but it vanished when he thought about the man who had killed his sister, Marisol. "But it was a suspect with us," he muttered. "But then again nearly everyone is a suspect here."

Ash looked away from Eric, thinking of both his sister and the incident with Ryan. She sighed, looking down at her boots. She really didn't want to think about that anyway. She looked up at him and sighed."Ummm, something else to talk about?" she asked, feeling uncomfortable.

Eric blinked, then looked up. "Ugh... What do you plan on doing during your next vacation off work?" He asked lamely. It was a bad question, and even he realized it the moment it came out of his mouth, and then he thought, hello stupid... Vacation means off work, he smiled inwardly, but didn't show it to anyone. He couldn't think of anything else to say or do...

Ash grinned and shrugged. "Well.... I'm not sure. Maybe somewhere in Texas. I have alwats loved it there. It it were longer I would go back to London or Sydney," she said quickly, thinking about all of the possibilities. "What about you?" she asked Eric, smiling at him.

Eric shrugged... "Well, I may just stay here and follow up some work on a few things. Maybe see how my dad is doing, but most likely I won't. I may go up north for awhile." He smiled lightly. "I hear they're getting pounded up in Wisconsin and Maine. With snow. I've always wanted to see real snow," he laughed a little. "Most likely it will be Wisconsin because I also heard the temperature right now in Maine is a little less than 20 Degrees. And I thought winters here were a little cold," he smiled.

Ashley laughed slightly and grinned. "Snow is very fun and amusing when you hit somebody with it," she said, her smile making her look like a little girl. She seemed to have changed into a teen really quickly as she heard the one song she loved the most. "Wow, it's "Who are you?"! Do you like this song? It's by The Who, one of the best groups ever," she said quickly, her lips moving to the song.

Eric smiled again. "Yeah. I love that song," he replied. He wasn't much of a singer or hummer so he pretty much just listened to it. "I especially like the song I Walk Alone or Boulevard of Broken Dreams, whatever you want to call it by Greenday," he smiled. "They look like a bunch of gangsters sometimes but their songs are great." Believe it or not he would go on youtube sometimes and listen and watch music on it when he was bored and had nothing to do.

Ash listened to him and the song and jumped when he said that he like I Walk Alone."You're kidding?! That is another one of my favorite songs," she said, a wide grin spreading across her face. She had no idea that they liked basiclly the same kind of music. "What do you think of paramore?" she asked, smiling at him.

OOC: I've never heard of Paramore! What's it about?
IC: "UGh... I don't think I've heard of that one but I'm not sure. I've heard more songs than what's good for three people so I'd never know if I heard it ten times," he smiled and laughed. "I'm more of a Simple Plan person. I love the song When I'm Gone, Take My Hand, and The End, though."
OOC: If you haven't heard of them they are a rock/pop band which I recently fell in love with. lol.
