(Had to add the noob. xD <3 you people xD)
Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...
The clock, the only thing besides Ash's breathing that was making a sound in the living room. Ash was sitting on the couch, her mind on Eric and Ryan. She had asked them to come over, just to talk. They seemed to be the only ones that didn't hate her. She had no problem with it just because they were the best ones on the team anyway. She looked around again, hoping to see a glimpse of either of them. She kept on going to the door, hoping to see any vehicle. she looked down and sighed, starting to think that they wouldn't come at all.

Of course he had to be late. Even though he had promised to be there on time the traffic had to get in the way, as always. He guessed Ashley would be thinking he wasn't going to come, and although he was going as fast as he possibly could with all the traffic that morning, it seemed like the minutes were ticking away to hours. Eric finally pulled down her road, after what felt like hours too late but was only ten minutes, and then quickly into her driveway, hoping his too-fast-driving didn't crash into anything. He didn't bother grabbing anything, although he noticed that Ryan wasn't there and he hurried in. He knocked on the door in case she hadn't somehow noticed his noisy approach.

Ash heard the car come in the driveway, and she found herself grinning. She grabbed the crutches and hopped over to the door. She was still getting over getting shot in her knee. She was lucky that she would get back to walking. She opened the door and saw Eric. She smiled at him and looked nehind him, with a slight hope that ryan was behind. She smiled at him and moved to the side."Hey Eric," she said with a small smile.

"Hey Ashley," he half grinned back then glanced quickly at her leg. "How's your days off been going?" He guessed the answer was probably going to be 'miserable' or 'terrible' or 'it absolutely sucks.' His would be. He always hated his vacations, even worse when they were sick or wound vacations because you couldn't really call them vacations if you were hurt. Now they had to wait for Ryan so talking would be the next to best thing to pass the time...

Ash smiled sadly at him and showed him inside. "It's... pathetic that I let him shoot me," she said quietly, feeling the same mix of anger and sadness. She had no problem with expressing her anger or sadness around Eric. He was easy to talk to, anyway.

Eric shook his head. "No, it's not pathetic. It happens to everyone. You did your job, and caught the guy, although you got yourself shot in the process you still managed to stand and get him back for it," he told her calmly. She looked sad when she said what she did, and he wanted her to know there was no reason to be sad at all...

Ash gave a small smile and nodded." It still feels so... I don't know," she said, looking away fro him. She started to feel ashamed, also. He was injured before, too, but she knew that she could have stopped it. She collapsed on the couch, her whole legg hurting, and patted a spott next to her. She smiled slightly and looked at him."So, what's been going on?" she asked him.

Eric sighed. "Nothing important, really. No real interesting cases and pretty much the entire team has taken the week off so... Nothing's happened. He sat down on the coach next to her. Truthfully it had been really boring, and there were no new cases, surprising, for Miami...

Ash nodded and sighed." Hate it when it's boring," she said with a small smile. She looked at him again and found herself sliding closer to him, although she wasn't thinking too much about it. She sighed, and thought about the woman that she was having a problem with."What's your opnion on Anya?" she asked, annoyed that she couldn't pronounce her last name.

[OOC: The noob? I'm supposing that's me. xD]
"Stupid traffic, killing time and not letting me--" Ryan paused, seeing that he had reached the house of a certain Ashley Renolds. He was (surprisingly) invited to go over to her home (perhaps it had something to do with the shooting incident, or maybe she just wanted to talk?), though everything had a bad side. He, unfortunately, had got into traffic, and had no choice but to curse practically the whole way and just get it over and done with.
Why was traffic always ruining everything?
Then; spotting the familiar home, the trace expert skidded to a halt, thanking the heavens an old lady or a dog wasn't walking by when he did. He would probably be scolded by his parents if they found out, which actually wasn't very likely. He lay his forehead on the steering wheel for a few moments, breathing; a small smile on his face.
Finally-- here he was.
He fell slipped out of the driver's seat, fixing himself for a brief minute before walking over to the front door.
Knock, knock, knock.
He felt like such an idiot right now, and started to think about an excuse. Hopefully it wouldn't be something stupid like, "I had to walk my hair and blowdry my dog." No. That was simply not acceptable.
Then again, a 'mood' might be set, and he could just break that with a little comic relief. But, oh well, he wasn't an eavesdropper--
scratch that. He eavesdropped.. just a little.
.Ryan.

"The detective?" He asked, frowning as he tried to remember her last name. he thought it started with a 'v' but he wasn't really sure. "She's annoyed at life itself. Anything can p*** her off," he sighed. Truthfully he wasn't really fond of her because of how she snapped at him and Ashley because of a simple question. He also knew there should be something that made her so impatient and with low tolerance. He would have said it out loud if he didn't notice Ryan had pulled in. "And Ryan's here," he announced out loud, and then he heard the knock a few moments later...

Ryan, hearing his name mentioned by the familiar voice, opened the door a crack and peeped his head in; blinking. ".. Uh. Did I catch you guys at a bad time?" he asked, hazel hues looking back and forth, first at Ashley, then at Delko.
"I mean, I could wait outside if you want. Wouldn't wanna be a burden or anything," he continued, coughing. It was never easy for him to relate to people who had already started a conversation, but he tried his best.
Well, usually.
.Ryan.

[In my vocab. noob = <3! Oh, and your posts make me die with laughter. xD]
Ash grinned at Ryan and realized how scatter-brained he could be. She rolled her eyes teasingly, and motined for him to come in." Ryan, I wouldn't have asked you to come over if I was going to ask you to leave," she said with a teasing smile. She looked at Eric, trying to see if there was any readable emotion on his face.

Eric grinned to himself quickly, looking away for a moment. Wow, he thought. "No, Ryan. Not really. We're just talking about a certain annoying detective," he grinned while he spoke. Sighing, he averted his gaze towards the window for a moment thinking. A burden, he thought, almost laughing to himself. For talking? He wanted to come up with a joke but it would be a little rude, in his opinion..

Ash saw the grin on Eric's face and bit her lip to stop the laughter fighting its way through. She looked down, ashamed that it seemed like his kindness was a joke. She looked back up at him and smiled slightly. She nodded towards the armchair next to the couch on her side and smiled sweetly at him. She nodded and laughed slightly."Yeah.. very annoying," he said smiling again.

[OOC: They do, huh?! aslfjjlhsajlgnsdjknh. D:< HOW DARE YOU MOCK THEM?!
Kidding. ;D I'm just, like, high on lollipops. :3]
"Well, there are such things as pranksters, you know," Ryan retorted a bit childishly, looking towards the two people with those hazel eyes of his. "But, alright. I'm going to take the liberty of walking in and sitting on that there armchair," he paused to point at the armchair Ashley indicated, "and talk to you guys."
He practically fell onto the chair like a dead person, and rubbed his eyes. Traffic was horrible, and it was killing him on the inside.
"The new detective? Uh.. what's her name? I don't remember meeting her.." he paused.
"Uh.. that Anya person?" He asked, rubbing his chin in thought.
.Ryan.

OOC: Lol, lol, lol, lol! Your posts are hilarious Ryan! xDDD.
IC: Eric coughed a quick laugh before replying. "Yes, that Anya person," he grinned. "She had a spaz attack when we tried to ask her why she was yelling at a witness then she argued furiously with us all for... No reason. Or at least none that I can think of. Oh, and you'll have fun when you meet her," he laughed again imagining what she would say when she saw their hyper little CSI. Well, he shouldn't say little, compared to her anyways...

[OOC: Why thank you kind sir, I am quite the active bunny. :3]
Ryan thought about that for a moment, rubbing his chin in thought; before placing his hands behind his head, crossing his legs. He could be as immature as he really was when he wasn't at work, and that made him slightly relieved. Though if Delko saw this side, he didn't quite know what would happen. "Ah, a spazz attack!" he exclaimed, nodding. "Well, there are such things as spaztronics or something, who just start, well," he paused, and coughed, then started shuddering heavily suddenly as if he had epilepsy, "talkingreallyquicklywithoutanygoshdarnreasonsincetheycan'tfindanythingelsetodoorthey'reradioactive!"
He grinned.
"That might be it."

OOC: Lol. ((I'm feminine))
IC: "Uhmmmm...." Eric stared blankly at Ryan, trying to comprehend whatever gibberish was just thrown at him. He looked at Ryan as though he had five heads, which sometimes it seemed like when he listened to his technical speaking. He sighed. "Well, I have no freaken clue at what you just said but... Do I want to know?" He half laughed.

[OOC: Ditto. xD]
Ryan thought about it for a moment, then shook his head. "Nah. You're probably going to ask more questions if I clarify it for you," he said, grinning and then rubbing his eyes, again. The keratitis was still bothering him, and he couldn't quite see very well. It was a terrible ordeal in itself, and the fact he still had to work was sad. Then again, he loved his job, and wouldn't give it up for the world. He worked so hard to get it, and he wasn't letting it go.
Then, he wondered.
'Does Delko think I'm hyper right now?'
Well, he was. It wasn't everyday that he was invited to someone's house. Much more, with someone else there.
.Ryan.
