Ryan managed to bandage his arm well enough to move it without any *loud* winces. He walked over towards Eric and Kate, resisting the urge to fall prey to his pain. He wasn't that much of a baby, and he still had some dignity to uphold. "H-Hey, you guys seen Aiden? She disappeared after I caught up to Horatio, who, by the way, is in a really bad condition. He's in denial that he's hurt," he murmured, a little sadly, considering he thought the man in such a way that it was like the father he never had. The Trace Expert closed his eyes for a moment, sighing.
To think; this case had CSIs as victims. It was terrible.

Aiden looked up through her fuzzy vision. The person who had hit her was standing over with a gun. She knew she was fading fast from blood loss and would only make it so much longer. Her gun had fallen a ways away from her. So she did all that she could do, she screamed as loud as she could just as the gun was fired at her.

Ryan winced, when he tried to move; unable, really, to figure out just what was going on. Figuring that he would have to look for evidence, or something of that sort, to see if those who were killed or knocked unconscious were truly the perpetrators of this crime. One, he, personally, would never be able to forget. Ryan rubbed his temples, supposing that maybe he was given the right to move around now, the others having been rushed to the hospital. He moved his arm in a circular motion, gasping in pain when his bullet wound shifted, and started to walk.
Then--came the scream.
Hazel optics widening in horror, the sound of a gunshot ringing through his ears, Ryan immediately started running, despite the pain; despite the fact that when he pulled the gun out of his holster he could realize he couldn't aim at all.
"A-Aiden!" he called, holding the gun up and running as fast as he could carry himself, the fact that his arm was bleeding seeming to be forgotten.
There was a life to save.

A sharp pain started in Aiden's side and seemed to radiate to her whole body. She looked around until she spotted her gun. Pulling herself desperately toward, as fast as she possibly could, the bullet seemed to wedge deeper in her side. Aiming the gun was harder than normal. Her vision was blurry and out of focus due to the injury to her head. Finding her position, she fired.
The bullet missed and hit a tree.
Keeping her gun in her hand, her free arm gave out underneath her and she felt over. Laying her head against the dirt, she heard a voice in the distance.
"A-Aiden?" It belonged to Ryan.
"Ryan?"She called out hoarsely, as loud as she could. It wasn't very loud but hopefully it was loud enough.

At the sound of the voice, Ryan rushed towards her bleeding form; falling to his knees and swearing unprofessionally. "Aiden, are you alright?" he asked, worry definitely seeping into his tone. It was his fault--he hadn't been watching clearly, he hadn't been responsible. And he had told Horatio not to worry, too..
Ryan growled, just a little bit, before turning his head and calling for the paramedics, louder than his usual shout due to the urgency of it all.
"A-Aiden. Stay with me, okay? You're not going to die. Just hold on.." he muttered, noticing the lack of blood she may be experiencing right now, the bullet lodged in pretty deep. Ryan placed a hand on her wound, hoping that it would clot the bleeding for now.

Aiden looked up at Ryan. She fought to keep her vision clear and in focus. Her mouth curved to form words that wouldn't come out. Instead she winced as a hand pressed down on the bullet wound.
After some struggled, she managed to free her vocal chords. She forced a weak smile."I'll try.

Ryan looked towards her, smiling back and nodding. "It's all you have to do," he said softly, raising his head when he spotted the paramedics on their way. He told her to wait for a moment, walking over to them and telling them their current situation. Then, moving back towards Aiden, he kneeled in front of her and smiled reassuringly.
"Come on. We gotta get you to the hospital," he murmured, helping the nurses place her on a stretcher and agreeing to accompany her to the hosiptal.
Besides--Eric knew how to find evidence. It wasn't like they needed a rookie like him.. right?
[OOC: Shall we make a topic in the hospital? xD;]

Aiden sighed heavily. She tried to sit up but winced and immediately laid back down. Instead, she only turned her head to Ryan. "You saved my life back there. Thank you. You wouldn't've had to had I been more careful. This is all my fault. Her lips pulled into a frown and she looked down for a moment.
After a moment she looked back up at Ryan with a concerned look. "Your arm. Are you okay?"
[OOC: Yeah. I think we shall but I can't really remember how. I'm really rusty on proboards XP]

"Criminals are tricky. You'll never really know what to expect from them," Ryan replied simply, and at the mention of his arm he felt as if the pain increased tenfold. So much for ignoring it. He smiled, however, shaking it off. "It's not much. The pain'll subside sooner or later. We gotta got you to the hospital, it's our number one priority. Your wound is way worse than mine," he added, a small frown on his face; brows furrowed in slight annoyance.
These hospital guys have gotta drive faster.
[OOC: Lawlz, alrighty. I'll make the topic in the hospital. :3 See ya theeereee. <3]

OOC: Whoops... I shouldn't have gone inactive. I'm like... Left behind. xD.
While everyone else was heading to the hospital and getting themselves shot Anya had other things on her mind to do. She was just going to make sure no one else was around, her gun still drawn, and keeping low, not like it was much of a problem keeping low at her size. She was too small to smash a flea anyways. It looked like everyone else was taken care of, although she didn't have a twinge of remorse for not helping out when she could have helped get rid of some of the criminals. Where she was she was risking shooting someone else before hitting the criminals anyways. Sneaking around through the trees was fun anyways; it reminded of her youth years in Maine, which brought her a fresh spark of pain and grief. New Topic, she thought. She didn't want to think about her family at all. As she walked through she could have sworn she heard some nearby snap, maybe a twig or small bramble branch, but she wasn't truly sure... OOC: Yep, you are. So am I, though, too. xD.
IC: Eric watched the ambulance driving off with a small sigh. For a moment he thought it was only him and Kate before he remembered Anya coming to the scene a while back. She didn't intercede on anything they did, which he was glad for because she'd probably come up with some smart remark that would irritate them. He looked around but she was nowhere in site. Great, he thought. Someone else to try and find, he began walking over to where he last saw her. For some reason he still thought there was someone else, a criminal, out here. He shrugged that off and continued to try and find her. He knew she was from Maine, so that made it a little harder. Trees and forests were there homes. She could be anywhere...
