Pausing with his hand on the door, Gavin took a deep breath. This was his starting day and first impressions effected how people respected and treated you. He pursued his lips, letting the air out through them slowly.
He pushed the door open and walked inside with an air of confidence that he definitely didn't feel. Folding his tatooed arms across his chest, he took a look around, trying to figure out where to go. He sighed, frustrated. He had been in to work not even a minute and already he didn't know what to do. So he made the decision to just start walking in the direction most people were headed.

Aiden walked down the hall in search of the coffee machine that she had yet to find. Seeing a new face, wandering around looking lost, he reminded her a lot of herself on her first day. She decided to approach him.
"Hi! I'm Aiden Hawthorne." A smile curves on her lips and she holds out her hand. "You look lost."

Gavin jumps slightly, hearing the voice. He turns around and seeing the very familiar woman in front of him, a grin spreads across his features.
He takes her hand and shakes it. " Hi Aiden. It's me. Gavin. Remember?"

Aiden looks confused for a second and then her eyes sparkle with recognition at seeing her old friend from school.
Oh my god...Gavin!!!" She grins around envelops him in a crushing hug.

Gavin hugs back for a moment and then laughs. "Aiden! Can't! Breathe!!!!" He pretends to gasp, holding back laughter the entire time.

"Oh! Sorry." Aiden lets go of Gavin and smiles up at him, looking very short compared to his tall stature. "Come on Gav, we have to go introduce you to H." Taking his hand, she leads him to H's office and knocks gently.

Horatio was looking at yet another new persons file. Where are all these people coming from? he asked himself. He didn't know. He flipped through the small stack of Gavin Barret's papers and sighed. He found a small date that the woman at the front desk had put there. It read:
Date starting: 10/13/08
Mekenzie Hayward
Horatio's eyebrows lifted, that was today! His focus shifted to a small knock on his office door. He stacked the papers nicely on his desk, and that happened to be the only organized thing on his desk. He sighed and went to get the door. When he opened it there stood Aiden and Gavin, holding hands. They must know each other, he thought and gave a faint smile.
