[Ashtin Aurelio]

Ashtin walked in. This was it. He thought. Time to start a new. I have to put all that behind me. Time to start a new yeah right. Like i can do that. He shook his head. He walked into the Crimelab. Surprisingly he was nervous. Hmm what would his co-workers think about him. Considering his appearance they might think that he was...... No they wouldn't. He looked around the lab. Where was he supposed to go.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden walked into the main area, a cup of steaming coffee in her hand. Noticing the new guy, she decided to introduce herself. Walking up to him, trying not spill her coffee, she couldn't help but notice how muscular he was. She looked rather short in comparison, but she was used to it. Smiling, she said" Hi. I'm Aiden Hawthorne."

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Hi, he replyed and contiued, Im Ashtin Aurelio. He said with a slight smile on his face. This girl was short. Well comparied to him anyway. What to do now?

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden raised an eyebrow and she could tell from his smirk that he was noticing how short she was. " Nice to meet you. Well you should probably introduce yourself to H..." She motioned toward the door and in doing so, splattered coffee all over her jacket and in Ashtin's direction. "shit. I'm sorry."

[Horatio Caine]

Horatio walked out of his office and looked down the shortish corridor that opens up the the main lobby, at what looks to be a new person with Aiden. They were talking and when Aiden extended her arm coffee flew everywhere. Horatio skook his head and quikle strode down the corridor.

"Aiden that is no way to treat a new person!" Horatio snapped with a little smirk on his face.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

At the sound of Horatio's voice, Aiden jumped. In doing so the little coffee she had left in the cup spilled on her already coffee-stained clothing. She looked at H nervously. "It was an accident! I swear! Again, I'm really, really sorry Ashtin!"

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Seriously Aiden dont worry about it. Its fine trust me. Will do you do me a favor ang up the cup down please. He turned to Horatio. You must be Lt. Caine. He said.

[Horatio Caine]

"Yes, go put it down and grab a janitor while your at it Aiden," he said and then focused on Ashtin. "Yes. Yes I am," Horatio replied. "What do you need?"

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Mum i don't really need anything. I'm the new Drug Identification. So I'm kinda confused on what to do right now. He replied and smiled a slight smirk.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden nodded and took off it the direction she had seen the janitor. She called over to her shoulder to Horatio as she walked. "He's new H. Don't be to hard on him." She smirked and turned her focus back to where she was walking just long enough to run into a wall.

[Horatio Caine]

Horatio didn't start to talk till Aiden got the janitor. He turned his head and focused on Ashtin."Ah the New Drug Identifier. You're early your resume says you start at 12:00," he looked at the clock on his phone, "and it's only 11:15." He looked up and gave a small shrug and frown. "Let me show you where your part of the lab will be," He said and looked up waiting.

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Oh im sorry i didnt really notice the time. Um ok. Ashtin replied. Lead the way. he said as he waited for Horatio to lead the way.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden had been unable to find the janitor. Sighing heavily, she did the only thing she could think of. She cleaned the mess up herself. Getting to her knees with a wash cloth she started wiping up the still scalding hot coffee.

[Horatio Caine]

Horatio turned and started leading Ashtin to the Trace wing of the lab. He turned a corner and came up to a locked door. He pulled out his key card and swiped it through, causing the door to unlock. He opened it and went inside activating the motion activated lights.

He turned around and faced Ashtin. "This is your room. You would be the 2nd to use it," he said and looked around at the plastic covered machines and the dust covered tables."Just a little cleaning up will do."

Ok. Um Horatio i dont want to sound rude or anything, but do you mind if i ask you to leave. Ashtin paused at the end of his sentence. I would like to set things up the way i want them. I would aslo like to bring in some of my old stuff from my car.....If thats ok with you, of course. He didnt want to sound rude to his new boss.

[Horatio Caine]

"Oh no that's fine. I was going to leave anyways, I have a lot to do," Horatio said with a slight smile on his face. He gave Ashtin a quick thumbs up and left.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden returned the cleaning supplies to the janitor's closet. She spotted Ashtin in his new office. Knocking on the door gently to inform him she was coming in, she opened the door and shut it behind her quietl.y "Hi. I know the first day here can be stressful. You want to talk?"

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Sure. I would like that. He said as he started to move the plastic coverings off. There was not as much to clean up as he thought. So whats your story. I mean why did you come here....To Miami that is. I know your not from here. Ashtin said as he messed with the lab.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

"Well I moved from Germany about six months ago..."She half-smiled and looked around. "This is a nice office you have here. So where are you from?"

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Thanks. Im from California. They if you dont mind me asking what brought you here. You dont seem like the type that would move so far away for nothing. Ashtin replied. There was something she wasnt telling me. he thought.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden tensed up a bit. "Just...thought it was time for a change. I'd always wanted to opportunity to work here and I saw the opening and decided I would take it." She forced a smile, hoping he wouldn't see through her lie.

Ashtin noticed that she was lieing. But he desided just to drop it. If she didnt want to tell him it was fine. Yeah. Hey i will be right back. He walked out of the room and out to his car. He grabbed a i-pod radio and walked back in. He plugged it in and turned on some My Chemical Romance. He turned on Im not ok and turned back to his work.

Aiden laughed hearing the song. " I LOVE this song! My Chemical Romance is great." She smiled. "So why did you leave California?"

[Ashtin Aurelio]

I had some problems with the people i worked with. But they werent problems like i didnt like them. Something happened..... So i desided that i wanted somthing better. Ashtin repled. Maby if i open up with her she will open up to me. he thought.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden nodded sympathetically, a little suprised with how open he was being. "What happened, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Dont worry about it. I want to tell you. You see when i worked in California i worked as a cop. Me and my partners were always kind of rivals, i guess you could call it. One night there was a riot and we had to try and calm things down. Almost every one in the city was involved. Me and my partner had to go check out one of stores. Most of them were being robbed at the time. So we went in. I cant really rember what happened. It happened really fast. You see there was a chain saw and..... He paused. Next thing i know i coulnt see my partner and the guys he was gone. I was covered in his blood and my finger prints were on it because i moved it away from him. So they called me a cop killer. I just got tired of it.I was so tired of what they would say. They would always say "You killed him. You KILLED HIM!!!!! I just didnt want to fight for the rest of my life over something i didnt do.... He trailed off.

[Aiden Hawthorne]

Aiden listened intently and her blue green eyes softened when he reached the end. "I'm so sorry. I completely understand." She bit her lip before speaking. " You confided in me so I'm going to try and tell you my story."

[Ashtin Aurelio]

Ashtin pulled up two chairs and sat in one. He waited for Aiden to sit down and tell him her story. He knew that there was somthing more behind her story. He sat there waiting for the information that was about to be spilled.
