Out of all the places in Miami, dance places, bars, and parks, which she all hated anyways, the forest was the only place she would always love to be. Filled with trees and what Southerners might call rough terrain, or what she might call bumpy ground, and animals. It was the best place to go on a day off, especially to work off some extra energy. She paced around for a moment, wondering which would be the best way to head off. The roughest path was to her left, so she went with that. She also knew she had to be careful of snakes and other tropical creatures, another down for living in Miami. All she had to worry about in Maine were bears, moose, skunks, porcupines, and coyotes, and maybe wolves, but not usually. Pretty much just big creatures you can hear and see coming at least a mile away. The trees were her favorite objects in a forest, but they were so filled with venomous snakes and spiders and frogs, that it was almost committing suicide to be near them. Oh well. She would climb them anyways. She had her phone with her but she really didn't want to use it. She hated the stupid piece of loud metal. It was always too loud, always ringing or beeping. She had thrown it out a window a few times as well because it wouldn't shut up.
The ground sucked. Well, in her mind. It was too flat. There was a pot hole only every ten steps, and the bramble bushes hardly snagged onto her clothing. The ground was to even, and there were no slopes. There were no large rocks to leap up on, or fallen logs to run across. There were no real stumps and jump on and try to dig down into the roots to. The forest was pathetic. She couldn't even call it a forest. She reached the base of a halfway decent golden oak, and she gazed up at it with less than some enthusiasm. This was so boring. Climbing would be much better. She grabbed onto one of the branches before hoisting herself up. It'd been awhile since she'd had a climb like this, but the memory of racing through the forests as a youth, jumping throughout the trees flowed through her like a river. She climbed up in a matter of seconds, the adrenaline driving her on. The tree was done before she was, the top too low. She glared at it with disgust. That sucked. As soon as the adrenaline flowed, it stopped. With a resigned sigh she turned on one of the top branches, drawing her knees to her chest and gazing out over the terrain. She wished she was back in Maine, for the only reason of her former terrain adrenaline to return and stay with her. That would be good...[

(OOC: You're right about the impossible to reply to part. xD)
Michaelan wondered through the forest, tired of the crowded Miami streets already. If her urge to get Ashley and Ryan back wasn't so strong, she would have left already.... probably on the first day of arrival of this God-forsaken city. She loved the forest, though. It was just like in Alabama, at least. In Wetumpka, there were woods like this. She loved the trees and the flat ground. She walked quietly through the maze of trees, and she saw something... well, someone. She walked slowly closer and narrowed her eyes. She didn't know the woman, but she wasn't a CSI. Go over there! a voice screamed in her head."No. I don't know if they showed them a picture of her!" she said loudly an angerly. She didn't notice that she said it outloud, though.Idiot, she probably heard your idiotic mouth, it screamed again. She rolled her eyes and stayed where she was, just watching the woman.

Anya froze as she heard something. Now she realized not all her forest senses were left behind in Rockland. She looked around at where the voice had come from, hardly seeing through the thick green branches and exotic plants. It looked like a person, but she wasn't sure. Silence overtook her for a moment as her thoughts ricocheted through her mind. Finally she made up her own mind. "Whose their?" Instinctively defensive, she leaped down from her branch on the tree, ignoring the fiery pains up and down her feet and ankles when she hit the ground. She paused for a moment so it wouldn't burn up her shins when she started to walk warily over to the person. She felt a twinge of frustration, though, that she wasn't alone...

Michaelan walked to compleate the distance between then. There was still a good six or seven feet betwen them, for she wouldn't allow them to get closer. She gave a small, serene smile and nodded in greeting."Hello. I guess I'm here," she said quietly. Just in case this woman posed any threats, she put her hand in her poket where she held her knife and her matches. Her eyes hid any emotion she was feeling from her, a skill she had had since she was young.

Anya stopped, not comfortable with getting too close to someone she didn't know, but the other woman seemed to stop too. She was a bit anxious, her pale blue eyes glitter for a moment before she calmed herself and tensed instinctively. "Hi. What are you doing here today?" She murmured, matter-of-factly. If she must, she would get into an argument but she really wasn't feeling up to it today. Her mind was still caught on the plane crash. She absent-mindedly rubbed her black long-sleeved shirt, on her bad arm, which she had broken and slashed up during it. It never healed properly. Usually she let it disappear into the wind, but it was obvious she wasn't really thinking about the present. She blinked for a moment, before putting her hands down by her waste, trying to do something other than think...

Mickey's head went off to the side and her eyes showed confusion for a minute. She shrugged and looked down."Same as you, I guess. Unless you aren't here to get away from this stupid place, of course," she said quietly. She looked back and cracked a small smile. Don't get too friendly with her! You have no idea who she is! the voice yelled sternly. Like Mickey didn't know that already...

Anya shrugged slightly then looked at the back for a moment. "I just want to get away from cities. They are all too big." She replied calmly. She was in her... Well, not really good mood, but more calm than usual. Probably because what was on her mind. She hesitated for a moment, thinking of something to talk about. "You could call it getting away from everything, yeah. Just comin' out over here," she sighed, her Mainer Accent lying heavy in her tone...

Michaelan nodded slightly and smiled at her, a full smile. Her head started to hurt when she voice in her head sprouted fists and pounded her head like crazy. She pressed her free hand to her forehead."Stop it," she muttered under her breath, and it stopped.(CRAZY) "It's easy to forget everything out here... It really reminds me of home," she said looking at her again.

Anya looked past Michaelan for a moment, still in deep thought before she regained eye contact when the woman spoke. She nodded to show she was listening, although only half her mind was in the same place. She shrugged though, knowing what she said anyways. "I try to get it to remin' me of home, but the trees are too separated, the ground is too flat, and there isn't the same clean country air here as there was back in Rockland, and especially the bushes and other objects. Same with the animals. Never had poisonous snakes or slugs or even croc's to worry about their," she almost smiled as she spoke. Only bears and other violent creatures. She then realized she had spoken more in that single sentence than she had all week..

Michaelan laughed and nodded."It's about the same in Alabama, but it's a little more rocky; at least around Alabama," she said looking down."The snakes annoy me... You can't have real peace when you see one of them around here," she said, getting more comfortable with her."So, you're a Mainer, huh?" she asked,"It's too cold there for me." It was true. She hid there for about a week before Almost freezing to death.

Anya nodded slightly, thinking of Rockland for a moment. In the Summer it was beautiful, the 65 degree weather warming every person along the coast, while the 53 degree ocean nearly froze them to death. The lobster was delicious, and the seafood. She longed for the seafood. Sure Miami had nice seafood, but it was nothing compared to the delicious recipes of swordfish and salmon and haddock and lobster at every corner like in Rockland. Until Fall came, everything was brilliant. She hardly realized she had pretty much left the conversation to her own world, and she blinked back to gaze at Michaelan. "Yes, the cold weather sucks, but it seems that's all Maine has to offer for the ten months that Summer has off," she sighed to herself.
